Last Updated: April 22, 2025 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Swabha ("we," "us," or "our") to homestay owners ("you" or "your"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By requesting and utilizing our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

Description of Services

Swabha provides the following Services to homestay owners: Laundry Services: Including washing, folding, ironing of linens (specifically focusing on white linens), free pickup and delivery, proactive linen inspection, rigorous quality checks, and protective packaging. Housekeeping Services: Including comprehensive cleaning, dusting, bedding refresh, bathroom sanitization, and monthly deep cleaning of sofa and curtains as part of the monthly package. Maintenance Services (as part of a package): Including regular checks of appliances, furniture, and fixtures, informing owners of issues, and fixing minor issues on the go. Specific details and pricing for each Service are outlined separately on our website, in our brochures, or as communicated to you directly.

Service Requests and Scheduling

You may request our Services through our website, phone, email, or other communication methods we provide. Service schedules are subject to availability and mutual agreement. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requested dates and times. You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your property location, access details, and specific service requirements. For laundry services, you are responsible for ensuring the linens provided for cleaning are owned by you or you have the authority to have them cleaned.

Pricing and Payment

The pricing for our Services is as outlined in our current price list or as quoted to you. We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time, but changes will not apply to services already scheduled or in progress. Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of service request. We may accept various forms of payment as specified. For recurring services (e.g., monthly housekeeping), payment is typically due in advance as per the agreed schedule. In case of late payment, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services.

Access to Property

You agree to provide us with safe and unimpeded access to your property at the agreed-upon times for the provision of Services. You are responsible for ensuring that any necessary arrangements (e.g., key access, gate codes) are in place for our team to access the property. If our team is unable to access the property due to reasons within your control, a cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply.

Linen Inspection and Damage

For laundry services, we will conduct a proactive inspection of linens upon receipt as outlined in our service description. While we take utmost care in handling your linens, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, color fading, or shrinkage that may occur during the normal cleaning process. If we identify any significant damage during our inspection that could affect guest comfort, we will notify you and may refuse to launder the item

Quality of Service and Liability

We strive to provide high-quality Services in a professional and timely manner. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our Services, you must notify us within 7 hours/days of the service completion. We will review your concerns and make reasonable efforts to address them. Our liability for any loss or damage arising from the provision of our Services is limited to the cost of the specific Service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. For maintenance services, our responsibility is limited to performing the agreed-upon minor repairs. We are not responsible for structural issues, major appliance malfunctions requiring specialized technicians, or any damages resulting from pre-existing conditions.

Termination of Services

You may terminate our Services with 30 days written notice, subject to any pre-agreed terms or contracts. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend our Services to you at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unsafe working conditions at your property.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, brochures, and other materials related to our Services, including logos, trademarks, and text, is the property of Swabha and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Privacy

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on our website and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific service agreements or quotes provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Swabha regarding the provision of our Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
